报告人简历：

Prof. Robson has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from University of Guelph and Master's degree in recreation and leisure studies (social-psychology) from University of Waterloo. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in forestry and was Assistant Professor at Lakehead University in Canada before becoming Professor in the College of Economics and Management at Nanjing Forestry University. His interest in natural resources was initiated during summer jobs as a forest and park ranger while in high school and university. He has worked in parks and as a research consultant in the identification of the social values of forests as well as ecotourism and backcountry recreation management and forest policy. However, his principal research interest is community-based institutions for sustainable governance of forests and protected areas both within Canada and internationally.
