Marie-Hélène Schwoob graduated from the Institute in Environmental, Agricultural Science and Engineering of AgroParisTech (Paris Institute of Technology, MA Environmental and Agricultural Sciences), and from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences-Po Paris, MA Political Sciences in Asia).
After having analyzed the protagonists of the environmental sector in China and directed the Energy and Environment Program at Asia Centre (Paris-based think tank on contemporary Asia), she joined the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) in 2011 to conduct research in the framework of its Food and Agriculture Program. She is also a candidate for a PhD in political sciences at Sciences-Po and a regular contributor for the China Analysis review.
